In this editorial, I discuss racism in academia. I focus on micro-aggressions, invisible labour, and the impact less overt experiences of racism has on employees/researchers.

World Mental Health Day: facts, figures and the flaws of academia
In honour of World Mental Health Day 2019, I wrote an editorial for Neuro-Central.
The opinion piece highlights some of the figures and statistics concerning mental illness, including global prevalence rates and other facts. The latter part of the editorial focuses on mental illness in academia, where prevalence rates are higher than the global rate and we still face several challenges in improving working conditions for young academics.
